Die Band wurde in Montreal/ Kanada von einem gebürtigen Texaner gegründet - das war 2000.
Nachdem aus dem Umfeld der Band mehrere Menschen starben, verarbeiteten die 8 Musiker ihren Schmerz im ersten Album das den vielsagenden Namen "Funeral" bekam.
Das besondere: die Band verwendet nicht nur Gitarren, sondern auch Harmonika, Akkordeon, Xylophon und gar Streichinstrumente. Seit "Funeral" konnte sich die Band einen Namen machen und ihr aktuelles Album wurde von diversen namenhaften Musikmags in die vorderen Jahrescharts gewählt.
